As a condition of eligibility for VIEW, unless you are exempt, you must sign a written Agreement of Personal Responsibility at the initial VIEW assessment (and upon re-referral following a reapplication or a period during which you are exempt).
You are considered a VIEW participant when the Agreement of Personal Responsibility has been signed. The agreement will, at a minimum, explain the 24-month time limit and that it is your responsibility:
· To seek employment to support your own family.
· To participate in assignments made by your case manager.
· To notify your case manager of any change in your circumstances that would impact your ability to satisfactorily participate in the program.
· To accept a job offer. Refusal to accept a job offer may result in a sanction if so determined by the VIEW worker.
· To arrange and find transportation and day care. The case manager will assist you if you have tried, but have been unable to find transportation or day care.
You will be considered as participating in VIEW until you have reached the VIEW time limit or you receive notice from your VIEW worker that you have failed or refused to participate.
If, without good cause, you fail (or refuse) to participate or cooperate, you are not eligible to receive a TANF grant.
