The amount you entered as your monthly SSDI (Title II) benefit amount differs from the amount WorkWORLD calculates that you should be receiving.
NOTE: DO NOT USE WorkWORLD TO COMPARE "WHAT-IF" SITUATIONS UNTIL WorkWORLD CORRECTLY CALCULATES YOUR CURRENT SITUATION.
NOTE HOWEVER: If you are entering a hypothetical situation and you do not know the actual amount of the check, reopen the question, "What is the actual amount of your monthly SSDI cash benefit?" and enter the amount specified in the Text Result.
The discrepancy could be the result of a number of factors including:
· You may be paying a premium for Medicare Part B Supplementary Medical Insurance, but you may not have entered YES that you are receiving Medicare Part B, or vice versa;
· You may have entered the wrong amount as your Primary Insurance Amount, or the full amount of your SSDI cash benefit. If your check is being reduced by the amount of your Medicare Part B premium, the full amount of your benefit is usually your check amount plus the Part B premium amount
· SSA may be adding an amount because of a previous underpayment that you did not enter;
· SSA may be deducting an amount for a previous overpayment that you did not enter;
· Your earnings or Workers Comp payment may not be correctly entered into SSA's record;
· You have entered information about a work incentive such as an IRWE, Employer Support Subsidy, or Reduced Duties Subsidy, that is different from that in SSA's records;
· You made an input error of some sort, or estimated an input incorrectly; or
· Your situation has changed recently.
NOTE: If your situation has changed recently, your SSDI (Title II) check may not yet take into account that change. Go back and re-enter your situation as it was before the recent change. (If WorkWORLD then correctly calculates your check, you may use the first "What- If?" column to enter your recent change and find out what your check amount should soon be.)
IMPORTANT: You should review your inputs and make any necessary corrections. If you find no input errors or receive this warning after making corrections, you should contact your SSA Claims Representative immediately to make sure that the amount you are receiving is the amount you should be receiving.
If, after taking the above actions, you find that you are receiving the correct amount but that WorkWORLD still calculates the amount incorrectly, then you may have found a bug in the software. Please help us fix the bug by saving the file and contacting us at our web site, http://www.WorkWORLD.org.
