The assistance grant of EAEDC applicants or recipients is based on the living arrangement of the assistance unit.
The living arrangement of EAEDC applicants or recipients falls into one of the following categories:
· Living Arrangement A applies to an EAEDC individual or family who is responsible for shelter costs, and who lives alone or with others
· Living Arrangement B applies to an EAEDC individual or EAEDC family who lives with another assistance unit who is applying for or receiving TAFDC, including spouses, and a legal obligation to support exists between a member(s) of the TAFDC assistance unit and a member(s) of the EAEDC assistance unit
· Living Arrangement C applies to an EAEDC individual who resides in a halfway house, licensed chronic hospital, licensed nursing home, approved public medical institution, licensed intermediate care facility, residential treatment center or public psychiatric institution
· Living Arrangement D applies to an EAEDC individual or family who pays no shelter costs or resides in a temporary emergency shelter
· Living Arrangement E applies to an EAEDC individual who resides in a licensed residential care facility
· Living Arrangement F applies to an EAEDC individual who resides in a therapeutic community center
· Living Arrangement G applies to an EAEDC individual who resides in a detoxification center
· Living Arrangement H applies to an EAEDC individual or family who is responsible for a shelter cost, and lives with a spouse who is applying for or receiving EAEDC or lives with a spouse and a child(ren) who is not the natural or adoptive child(ren) of the spouse and the spouse is applying for or receiving TAFDC for himself or herself only, or for himself or herself and the child(ren)
NOTE: The General Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2004 (the state budget) removed the rent allowance from the EAEDC program effective July 1, 2003.
