The figures in the following Standards of Assistance Table are used to determine financial eligibility for EAEDC based on the applicant’s living arrangement. If the countable monthly income of the assistance unit is equal to or less than the appropriate standard of assistance, with or without rent allowance, the unit is financially eligible. The monthly EAEDC grant is the difference between the countable income and the appropriate standard of assistance.
NOTE: The General Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2004 (the state budget) removed the rent allowance from the EAEDC program effective July 1, 2003.
