EAEDC - Income Test of Eligibility Overview- Massachusetts

Financial eligibility for EAEDC with regard to income is determined at application, re-determination, and when a change in income is reported. A specific income test for eligibility procedure is used to determine whether a household’s income exceeds or does not exceed the applicable Standard of Assistance. For households that have income that does not exceed the standard, a specific grant calculation is performed.

All categorical eligibility requirements must be met in addition to the meeting the financial eligibility requirements for EAEDC.
