State Supplemental Payment Overview - Oklahoma

Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) logoThe State Supplemental Payment (SSP) program, administered by the Family Support Services Division of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS), is a state funded program that provides financial assistance to the aged, blind and disabled population who have been determined financially eligible. These individuals also receive Medicaid Services.

SSP is a state administered supplement to Federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. It is for SSI recipients and those who would receive an SSI benefit except that their countable income is too high (but not higher than the SSP limit). See the SSI State Supplement - Oklahoma topic for maximum payment levels.
