Medicaid Program - Optional Group Coverage - South Carolina

South Carolina's Medicaid program provides optional coverage of the groups listed below. These groups are not mandated under Federal requirements.

·         Individuals institutionalized and/or receiving Home and Community Based Services with income up to 300% of the SSI payment level.

·         Optional State Supplement (OSS) recipients, including the Aged, Blind, and Disabled

·         Children for whom a State Adoption Assistance Agreement is in place

·         Children who receive Foster Home care board payments

·         Children under age 21 with a Special Living Arrangement

·         Katie Beckett Children

·         Working Disabled

·         Individuals in the Breast/Cervical Cancer Program

·         Income eligible children in families with income up to 150% of Federal Poverty Guidelines

·         Aged, Blind, and Disabled (ABD) with income of up to 100% of Federal Poverty Guidelines
