VA TANF - Match Payments

The 2002 Virginia Acts of Assembly mandates, effective July 1, 2003, that all recipients of TANF cash assistance, including recipients whose deficit is less than $10, be paid a monthly TANF supplement in an amount equal to the current child support collected by the Division of Child Support Enforcement (DCSE), less the disregard of the first $50 of current child support received by the assistance unit.

TANF Match payments are disregarded when determining Countable Income used in calculating financial eligibility and the TANF Grant Amount or VIEW Grant Amount.
