SSI State Supplement - Kentucky

Image of the Kentucky State Flag. Placed on a navy blue field is the seal of the Commonwealth, encircled by a wreath, the lower half of which is goldenrod (the state flower) in bloom while the upper half is the words 'Commonwealth of Kentucky'. The two friends shaking hands, a pioneer and a statesman, represent all the people. They are acting out the meaning of Kentucky's motto: 'United We Stand; Divided We Fall'. The state motto means working together for the benefit of all. The flag was adopted in 1918, and ammended in 1928 and 1962.Kentucky provides State Supplements to Federal SSI benefit payments for residents in one of the living arrangements specified in the table below.
