We hear from our users on a regular basis. They are individual consumers striving to help themselves and professionals assisting many people with disabilities. They tell us why WorkWORLDTM is important to them, and how they use it. Below are samples of unsolicited testimonials.
From a consumer in the South: "Thank you. Got the program/CD and so far I am incredibly impressed with its potential to help folks transition back into the work field. I am sincerely grateful for the efforts you and others like you are exerting by making the re-entry process less confusing, and more effective. WorkWORLD is going to be a huge contribution to many like me. Thanks again to all of you…who understand the significance of work."
From a consumer in the Midwest who is receiving SSDI benefits: "I wish to congratulate you on your site and WorkWORLD. They are useful sources of information for people such as myself. I have dealt with regulatory agencies for nearly 30 years and understand something of the maze effect in bureaucracies and can work my way through them with some modest effort. The SSDI rules are, however, nearly impenetrable even with my background. I cannot imagine what it must be like for someone whose background is less extensive. Glad to see a program such as yours. Keep up the good work!"
From a Staff Supervisor from a state Vocational Rehabilitation agency in the North: "I am very interested in any future training that you might have on the software. I feel it is a great tool for our counselors to use with the SSA customers we serve."
From the Director of a Medicaid Waiver Program in the South: "This program is a vital tool for our clients. In order for our agency to be effective, we need the WorkWorld program to assist them in important decisions concerning their situations. We use WorkWorld with many of our clients on the Ticket to Work and Medicaid Waiver Programs. One client, a mother of 6 who depends on spousal (Veterans) benefits to rear her 6 grandchildren at home, would have had a fatal mishap with her benefits if a complete WorkWORLD analysis were not completed for her. The client receives benefits from state and federal agencies. She is living in low-income, subsidized housing and receives food coupons for her grandkids. She wanted to re-enter the work world. Although she could not enter full time, she was able to enter part-time employment. I would like to take this opportunity to say "Thanks" to you and your colleagues for developing a wonderful program that is user friendly for the disabled, low income, and indigent clients in the rural area we serve."
From a teacher in the Mid-Atlantic: "I am interested in getting a copy of the WorkWORLD CD. I am placing high school special education students into jobs (a co-op program). This sounds like it might help some of the parents understand why their children can still work."
From the Director of an employment program for individuals recovering from mental health issues in New England: "I learned about your WorkWORLD software at a seminar I recently attended. I passed the information on to our staff who are involved as designated payees for many of our consumers - it seems like a wonderful program."
From a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor in the South: "You were an excellent resource - so expect me to use the software and call again in the future."
