If you are a SSDI (Title II) beneficiary being allowed to have reduced or lighter duties by your employer because of your disability, enter the dollar value (per month) that your employer says that subsidy is worth.
We suggest that before you submit a claim to SSA for a subsidy, you discuss with your employer both the reason you want to claim a subsidy and the dollar value that your employer thinks the subsidy is worth. (Soon after you claim a subsidy, SSA will contact your employer. SSA will ask your employer to verify that you are receiving a subsidy and to specify the dollar value of that subsidy.)
See the topic Subsidy and Special Conditions for additional overview information.
See the topic Subsidies and Special Conditions - Clarification for additional description and discussion of what SSA considers when determining if a subsidy is being made and whether or not special conditions apply.
See the topic Subsidy - Reduced Duties - SSI/DI Work Incentive for additional information.
