You are no longer in your Trial Work Period (TWP) or Grace Period, but you may still be in your Extended Period of Eligibility (EPE) . It is important to remember that during your EPE you should not receive an SSDI/Title II check any month your countable earnings is greater than the Substantial Gainful Activity (SGA) amount. If you receive a check by mistake, DO NOT CASH IT; contact SSA immediately.
NOTE: After your EPE has ended you will still be eligible for an extended period of Medicare Part B free coverage and for an Expedited Reinstatement of Benefits. These benefits are a result of the Ticket to Work and Work Incentive Improvement Act of 1999 (TWWIIA).
