The amount you entered as your monthly SSI benefit amount differs from the amount WorkWORLD calculates that you should be receiving.
The discrepancy could be the result of a number of factors including:
Your correct earnings may not be on SSA's records; or
Your situation has changed in the last two months -- NOTE: Your check is usually based on your situation one or two months ago. If your situation has changed recently, go back and re-enter your situation as it was before the recent change; or
You may be receiving a Federally administered State Supplement amount different from the amount you entered; or
You have entered information about using a work incentive such as an IRWE, PASS, Blind Work Expense (BWE ) or Student Earned Income Exclusion (SEIE), that is different from that on SSA's records; or
You have entered information about your living situation (about living independently, being married, or receiving In-Kind Support or deemed income) that is different from that on SSA's records; or
An amount is being added to your check because of a previous underpayment that you did not enter;
An amount is being deducted from your check because of a previous overpayment that you did not enter;
You made an input typing error of some sort, or estimated an input incorrectly. (If you used one or more estimates and the resulting error is small, then you may proceed for the time being. You should, however, find out the exact amounts of your estimated inputs to use WorkWORLD in the future.)
If, after taking the above actions, you find that you are receiving the correct amount, but that WorkWORLD still calculates the amount incorrectly, then you may have found a bug in the software. Please help us fix the bug by saving the file and contacting us at our web site, http://www.WorkWORLD.org.
