Some people are not eligible for SoonerCare Plus. Individuals excluded from participation in SoonerCare Plus include, among others:
· People receiving services in a nursing facility or an intermediate care facility for the mentally retarded (ICF/MR) for a period in excess of 30 days
· People receiving services through a Home and Community Based Waiver
· People privately enrolled in a Health Plan if that enrollment is not through the SoonerCare Plus program
· People who would be required to travel more than 25 miles or an average of 45 minutes to obtain primary care services
· People living in an area excluded from the program
· Illegal aliens
· Children in subsidized adoptions
· People eligible for Medicaid services because they are aged, blind or disabled and dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid
