You are eligible for MassHealth Standard coverage because you are pregnant and your family countable income does not exceed the income limit of 200% of the federal poverty guidelines for your size family.

NOTE: You would be eligible for MassHealth Standard coverage regardless of your family size and family countable income if you were eligible for a Supplemental Security Income (SSI) cash benefit or a SSI work incentive called 1619(b).

NOTE: On November 1st, 2003, the Massachusetts Department of Medical Assistance (DMA) began charging premiums to some MassHealth Standard beneficiaries. Those who are eligible because they are pregnant or under 6 years old, however, do not have to pay premiums.
