GA Severely Physically Disabled And Traumatic Brain Injured Waiver Program

The Severely Physically Disabled And Traumatic Brain Injured Waiver Program is a home and community-based waiver for persons who have severely physically disabilities and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI). The waiver program is intended to provide a wide range of services to individuals who would otherwise require the level of care provided in a nursing facility or hospital.

Services include:

·               case management,

·               personal care services,

·               respite care,

·               adult day health,

·               physical therapy,

·               occupational therapy,

·               environmental accessibility adaptation,

·               speech therapy,

·               skilled nursing,

·               vehicle adaptations,

·               specialized medical equipment and supplies,

·               personal emergency response systems,

·               counseling, and

·               behavior management services.
