Family Independence Program - Initial Job Search Requirement - South Carolina

All adult applicant budget group members, unless exempted, must conduct and document an initial job search during the application process for the Family Independence Program (FIP). The applicant must make and document a minimum number of employer contacts, with the goal to complete these contacts within two weeks.

Failure to complete the job search without good cause will result in denial of the application.
