The Virtual Career Network (VCNet) provides free employment assistance by allowing job seekers to post their resumes and search for jobs online. The Virtual Career Network also assists employers to search for candidates with specific skills.
VCNet allows you to choose the level of assistance that you find most comfortable, from independent efforts to staff assisted services. For example, Virtual Job Seeker Services allows you to create your resume and place it in an electronic talent bank accessible by employers, search through an electronic job bank for the job of your choice, research career information, and review training opportunities. Self-Help Resource Rooms at One-Stop Career Centers provide Internet access, word-processing and resume preparation software, printers, copiers, fax machines, videos, automated interest and aptitude tests, newspapers, and a complete resource library.
Links at the VCNet site provide listings of services available at your nearest One-Stop Career Center, special services available through Delaware's One-Stop Partners, and information about training opportunities certified by the Delaware Workforce Investment Board (WIB).
