You have lost your Medicaid eligibility under the Auxiliary Grant Covered Group. If you lost your eligibility because of earned income, however, you should be eligible for Medicaid under the 1619(b) Protected Group. For more information, see VA 1619(b) Status.
1. Create a New Situation.
2. If you have only entered one situation, the new situation will be based on it. Otherwise, choose the column containing the recommendation as the column on which to base the new situation. (The new column will contain the same answers as the chosen column until you make changes.)
3. Go to the top of the new column and enter a situation label such as "1619b".
4. Scroll down to the Virginia question: "Medicaid Covered Group:" and select "1619b".
5. Select the "Numerical Results (SSI/DI)" tab at the bottom of the Outputs section. Look at the Medicaid Eligibility information under the "Net Income" row.
