VA Numerical Results

For WorkWORLD users in Virginia, there are several additions to the Numerical Results that are not available to users in all states. (See: Numerical Results for complete information about the results available to all.)

Auxiliary Grant Recipients:

There are two additional rows of information for Virginia residents who live in licensed assisted living facilities or approved adult foster care homes.

· In the Income Section, the Auxiliary Grant Payment amount is posted. This is the amount of the Auxiliary Grant that you receive. WorkWORLD can show you the effect of earnings on the payment amount.

· In the Expense Section, the Auxiliary Grant Facility Rate is posted. This is the amount that you must pay the facility or foster care home for room, board and services.

Virginians who ask for more information about Medicaid, Section 8 Housing and Food Stamps:

There are a number of additional rows of information for Virginia residents who ask for more information on the above benefits.

· In the Income Section, WorkWORLD posts the individual or couple's share of the Food Stamps allocation for each situation. (If the individual pays 100% of the food expenses, then 100% of the allocation is posted.)

· In the Expense Section, WorkWORLD posts the individual or couple's share of the rent and utilities expenses for each situation. (If the individual pays 25% of the amount the household must pay for rent and utilities, then 25% of the household's rent and utility expenses are posted.)

· In the Expense Section, WorkWORLD posts the estimated medical expenses. (WorkWORLD asks the user to estimate expenses with and without Medicaid and Medicare. If the user is eligible for Medicaid in one situation and not in another, WorkWORLD posts the appropriate estimate for each situation.)

· Medicaid Eligibility Section: WorkWORLD adds a section that lists the Medicaid covered group of interest to the user, as well as the resource-eligibility and income-eligibility of the user (and spouse, if appropriate) for Medicaid under that covered group.
