Much of the information that you will need to answer WorkWORLD questions correctly is contained in your original "Award Letter" from SSA informing you about your Supplemental Security Income (SSI) [Title XVI] or Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) [Title II] benefit. (If you receive both SSI and SSDI, then you should have two award letters.)
Each letter states the type of benefit, benefit amount and effective date; it may also inform you if you are entitled to a retroactive payment.
If your benefit has changed since the original award letter, each change will be included in a "Notice of Change".
You should keep your award letters and all notices of change in a safe place.
NOTE: SSA now offers a free Benefits Planning Query (BPQY) report that contains much of the detailed information needed to accurately answer the Current Situation questions.
