When you first start entering answers to describe a situation, WorkWORLD posts a notice, "QUESTIONS PENDING", in the status bar on the lower-right side of your screen:
That notice remains there until you have answered all of the questions relevant to the situation. When you have answered all of the questions, the notice is changed to "Situation Complete":
At that time WorkWORLD calculates the results and posts them in the Results portion of your screen (the bottom part of your screen).
If you go to an input box in a different situation (a different column) by clicking on it, by navigating to it with the keyboard, or by creating a new situation, the notice will say "Situation Complete" until you make a change in one of the answers. At that point, if WorkWORLD needs you to answer more questions in order to complete the situation, the notice in the status bar will change to "QUESTIONS PENDING" and another notice, "Incomplete Situation", will appear in the Results column for that situation.
For example, if you wanted to see what sort of difference it would make if you were to get married, you might go to a column with a completed situation and change the answer to the marriage question from "No" to "Yes". The notice in the status bar would immediately change to "QUESTIONS PENDING", the notice, "Incomplete Situation" would be posted in the Results section, and WorkWORLD would begin presenting you with a series of questions about your spouse's situation. The notice would not change to "Situation Complete" until you answered the entire series of questions. At that time, the "Incomplete" notice would disappear from the Results section and the new results would be posted.
