Local Housing Authority - Iowa

A publicly created authority that administers the Public Housing and tenant based Section 8 for a given community. Larger cities will all have their own housing authority. Some are part of city government. In rural areas it varies from town to town, however, most of Iowa is covered with multi-county regional housing authorities.
