GA One-Stop Career Network

The One-Stop Career Centers were created under the Workforce Investment Act, which prompted a new approach to delivering employment and training services throughout Georgia. Weekly monetary assistance to eligible unemployed workers.

Local, State, and National job Listings

Over 170,000 job openings each year.

Dedicated Knowledgeable Staff

Ready to assist with job search activities.

Job Search Workshops

Current information on job seeking strategies.

Resume' Assistance

Computer software and books for developing resumes and cover letters.

Resource Libraries

Up to date computer based information on job search techniques, along with the latest books and videos.

Employment Counseling

Help with job choices and employment planning.

Labor Market Information

Employment trends, job outlook, and wage information.

Financial Management Workshops

Tips on stretching your income during unemployment.

Referral to Education and Training

Training opportunities for individuals who meet criteria for Federal training programs.

Services for Specific Customers

In addition to the general services, local offices provide the following services for specific customers:

Veterans Services

Specialized veteran staff to provide employment assistance to all military veterans.

Federal Bonding Program

Assistance program for individuals who are unable to obtain commercial bonding required by employers.

Seasonal Farm Workers

Information and referral to agricultural jobs in certain areas of the state.

Unemployment Insurance Benefits

If you are unemployed, you may be eligible for unemployment insurance benefits. To file a claim, visit the nearest Career Center.
