FIP Eligibility - Minor Parents - Iowa

Minor parents with dependent children in their care must live in the home of the minor parent’s adult parent or legal guardian unless good cause for not living with the adult parent or guardian is established, for example the adult parents are deceased, missing or living in another state. A "minor parent" for FIP is a parent who is under age 18 and has never been married (or the marriage was annulled).
