Family Independence Program - Change Reporting Requirements - South Carolina

Family Independence Program (FIP) applicants and recipients must report the following changes in status to the South Carolina Department of Social Services (SCDSS) within 10 days:

· Change in the composition of the household

· Change of address

· Obtaining or losing employment

If a change occurs and is not reported, causing an overpayment of FIP benefits, the recipient is obligated to make repayment.
