DE IDA - Financial Eligibility

Individual Development Accounts (IDAs) that are offered through the Delawareans Save! program require participants to meet both income and resource guidelines.

In general, total household income must be less than 200% of Federal Poverty Guidelines, based on household size. Single-parent families with either one or two children have higher income limits. Guidelines are for GROSS income (before taxes) but do not include child support

In addition, your total assets must be less than $10,000, not including a primary residence and a car.

If you receive TANF or the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) you automatically qualify for the program.

You may keep your IDA account even if your income increases after you join.
