Your rental unit you have located has too many bedrooms for the size of your family unit. See Family Size and Number of Bedrooms for a table of Family Size versus Number of Bedrooms.
NOTE: Your Public Housing Agency (PHA) may deviate from HUD's guidelines. If your PHA says that a different number of bedrooms is appropriate for your family size and composition, ignore WorkWORLD's Text Results concerning number of bedrooms.
If you wish to apply for Section 8 rental assistance you will have to find a rental unit with the appropriate number of bedrooms.
For more information on family size and number of bedrooms, see Changes in Family Size & Composition.
