Adobe Acrobat Reader - Iowa

Portable Document Format (PDF) is the format used by the Iowa Department of Human Services for their Employees’ Policy Manual. Most of the materials in the Iowa Benefit Information System were drawn from that Policy Manual and are further explained there.

If you have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed and you are on the Internet, clicking on the links to the Policy Manual will bring up a Table of Contents for the programs. Clicking on the relevant chapter title will open the chapter in Adobe Acrobat.

To find out if you have the Reader already installed, try to open one of the Policy Manual’s chapters.

If you don’t have the Acrobat Reader, you can download it free from www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html.

Note that many of the documents available from the Social Security Administration’s web site, as well as the Housing and Urban Development web site, are also in PDF format.

Additional Information

WorkWORLD utilizes internal copies of two PDF documents (RC-0018 and RC-0033) containing Iowa data. The latest versions of these files will always be available from the Iowa DHS Policy website. The two files are available at:
