Veterans Benefits - Tuition Benefits - South Carolina

Education assistance programs for South Carolina veterans provides for free tuition to the children of certain war veterans attending South Carolina State supported colleges and universities as well as state supported post high school technical education institutions. Certain residency requirements apply. For questions or to apply contact (803) 255-4255.

Free tuition at any state-supported institution of higher learning, including colleges, universities, and technical schools is available for children of war veterans who died of a service-connected disability, or if the veteran is permanently and totally disabled from any condition. Free tuition is also available to children of ex-prisoners of war and missing in action and recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor.
