VA Alert - Ineligible for QMB, SLMB, QI or QDWI because of Income

You specified one of the Medicare-Related covered groups as the group for which you want eligibility information. Your countable income, however does not fall with the range of the covered group that you named. To be eligible, your income must be:

· QMB: Equal to or less than 100% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).

· SLMB: Between 100% and 120% of FPL.

· QI: Equal to or more than 120% but less than 135% of FPL

· QDWI: At or below 200% FPL and you must be working.

If your countable income falls within one of the other Medicare related covered groups, go back and select that group in answer to the covered group question (or create a New Situation and change your answer).
