How much parental income is or would be deemed depends on the type of income the parent has after allocations are made for ineligible children.
Certain kinds of income, such as money received for foster care, education grants for tuition, any public income-maintenance payments, and any In-Kind Support, are not counted when computing the ineligible parent's income for deeming purposes.
If you do not know how much parental income is being or would be deemed, contact your SSA Claims Representative.
NOTE: This version of WorkWORLD does not ask enough questions about parental income to calculate the amount that would be deemed. Whether or not a future version will do so depends on user demand. If you want WorkWORLD to calculate parental deeming, visit www.workworld.org and let us know.
