New York Utility Standards Region - SNAP (Food Stamps)

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly Food Stamp Program) in New York State has three sets of utility standards that vary by region: New York City, Long Island, and Rest of New York State.

NOTE: WorkWORLD will automatically use the utility standards appropriate for the region you select.

The region you live in and the allowable costs of your shelter there (rent or mortgage, taxes, utilities, etc.) may affect your net income and therefore the amount of SNAP (Food Stamps) benefits that you are eligible to receive.
