Medicaid continues to be available to people who become ineligible for the Family Medical Assistance Program (FMAP) because of increased income from the receipt of child or spousal support. Recipients in this coverage group are eligible for up to four months of extended Medicaid coverage.
To qualify, the person must have received FMAP in three of the six months immediately before the month of cancellation.
