Medicaid Program - Income Disregards - Oklahoma

In determining need for Medicaid, the following items, among others, are not considered countable income:

·             Food Stamps

·             Educational grants

·             Loans, regardless of use, if a bona fide obligation to pay can be established

·             One-third of child support payments received on behalf of the disabled minor child

·             Indian payments

·             Payment for supportive services to individuals serving as foster grandparents or health aides

·             Assistance or services provided by the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation

·             Governmental rental or housing subsidies

·             Low Income Home Energy Assistance payments (LIHEAP)

·             Income set aside under an SSA-approved Plan for Achieving Self Support (PASS)
