Educational Income Exclusion (New Hampshire) - SNAP (Food Stamps)

In the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly Food Stamp Program), New Hampshire has received a waiver from the Federal government that allows the State to exclude all educational income regardless of source. This includes both normal educational assistance income as well as work-study educational income. No educational income is counted as either earned income or unearned income. Consequently, if your household resides in New Hampshire, WorkWORLD does not ask you questions about educational assistance.
