Child Care - ABC Special Needs Voucher Financial Eligibility - South Carolina

To receive child care through the ABC Special Needs Voucher Program, families must meet specific income standards based on family size. The standards are shown for both monthly income and yearly income in the table below. Entrance is based on 150%, and exit is based on 175% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

NOTE: A family must have income within the range in the "Entrance" column in order to enter the program. A family will become ineligible when income exceeds the income in the "Exit" column.

The applicant’s income verification must be provided from either working or participation in school or a training program. Certain income is considered when computing the amount of family gross income for eligibility purposes. Certain income is excluded when computing the amount of family gross income for eligibility purposes.
