The mission of the South Dakota Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) is to assist individuals with disabilities to obtain employment, economic self-sufficiency, personal independence and full inclusion into society. DRS is the designated state agency under provisions in the Rehabilitation Act.
DRS offers a wide array of programs and services. The South Dakota Benefits Information System (SDBIS) focuses on:
Vocational Rehabilitation Services
Personal Assistance Services (PAS) - Freedom to Work
Deaf Services (including TRS/TAD/TEDP)
