Child Care Assistance - Eligibility - Oklahoma

Eligibility for child care assistance is based on:

· Need for Service: A family must need child care assistance in order for the parent(s) or caregiver(s) to work or attend school or training.

· Financial Eligibility: A family’s household income must be within certain limits except for:

o    Families who are Predetermined Eligible

o    TANF recipients who are employed – Transitional Child Care

o    TANF recipients participating in the Work Supplementation Program

o    Families with Dual Eligibility

· Age of Child: Child Care Assistance covers children ages infant to age 13. Children with disabilities and children under court supervision may be eligible to receive a child care subsidy through the month they turn 19 years of age.
