Child care assistance is provided without regard to income for:
· Families who are Predetermined Eligible
· TANF recipients who are employed – Transitional Child Care
· TANF recipients participating in the Work Supplementation Program
· Families with Dual Eligibility
For all others, financial eligibility is determined on the basis of gross countable income other than excluded income and on the household size. (See: Child Care Assistance Countable Income, Child Care Assistance Excluded Income and Child Care Assistance Household Size.)
A couple earning as much as $3,625 a month may still qualify for some amount of child care assistance. See Child Care Eligibility/Rates Schedule for specific income limits based on household size and the number of children in subsidized care. (Requires Acrobat Reader)
