Alert: You are not eligible for MassHealth Standard (less than 19)

You are not eligible for MassHealth Standard coverage despite the fact that you are less than 19 years old because your family countable income exceeds the income limit of 150% of the federal poverty guidelines for your size family.

NOTE: If you are pregnant, you may qualify under the higher limits for people in that situation (200% for pregnant women). If you are pregnant, another Text Results will inform you of your eligibility under that limit.

NOTE: The Division of Medical Assistance (DMA) will give Transitional Medical Assistance (TMA) for up to 12 months to parents and caretaker relatives of children under age 19 (and their children) if they have become ineligible for MassHealth Standard because the family’s income has gone up as a result of a family member returning to work or getting a raise.

NOTE: You would be eligible for MassHealth Standard coverage regardless of your family size and family countable income if you were eligible for a Supplemental Security Income (SSI) cash benefit or a SSI work incentive called 1619(b).
