Alert: Other family members with disabilities are not eligible for MassHealth Standard

Unless they are eligible for Transitional Medical Assistance, other members of your family who have disabilities are not eligible for MassHealth Standard coverage despite the fact that they have a disability because your family countable income exceeds the income limit of 133% of the federal poverty guidelines for your size family.

Note that if those members are under age 19 or infants or pregnant, they may qualify under the higher limits for people in those situations (150% for under age 19 and 200% for infants and pregnant women). If they are in such a situation another Text Result will inform you of their eligibility.

NOTE: Your other family members with disabilities are eligible for MassHealth Standard coverage regardless of your family countable income if they are eligible for a Supplemental Security Income (SSI) cash benefit or a SSI work incentive called 1619(b).

If any of the specific numbers in the Text Results Alert are not correct, go back to your answers for the relevant questions and check that those answers are correct.
