MassHealth Family Assistance will pay most of the monthly health-insurance premium for qualified employees. In Division of Medical Assistance (DMA) regulations 130 CMR 505.005 and 506.012 (see below), this is called "Premium Assistance."
The employee's share is reduced to a low monthly rate. In 2004, in most cases, the monthly cost to the employee will be:

$27 per adult, $54 per couple |
*Individual circumstances may vary. In some cases, the cost may be higher.
