Homebuyer Counseling Services - Massachusetts

Some state and local agencies as well as non-profits and banks offer courses on how individuals can purchase their first home:

·      The Massachusetts Homeownership Collaborative has information on homebuyer counseling agencies across the state. Contact: 1-800-HOME-111.

·      The Federal National Mortgage Association ("Fannie Mae"): 1-800-732-6643

·      The City of Boston operates the Boston Home Center: (617)-635-4663

·      The Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency (MHFA) has a list of homebuyer counseling agencies. Contact them at (617) 854-1000 or http://www.masshousing.com/portal/server.pt.
