Current Recipients - SNAP (Food Stamps)

If your household is receiving or has been authorized to receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly Food Stamp Program), then enter "YES" to the question "Do you currently receive SNAP (Food Stamp) benefits?"

If you answer 'YES', WorkWORLD assumes that your household members must have met certain requirements such as being a U.S. citizen or eligible immigrant and providing a Social Security Number. Additionally, in the Current Situation (first column) only, WorkWORLD will then ask what your current SNAP (Food Stamp) benefits are. This figure will be compared against the number calculated by WorkWORLD in order to perform a validity check of the computations.
