Workers' Compensation Payments

Workers' Compensation (WC) payments are made under a State or Federal law to a worker because of a work-related injury, illness or disease. WC payments are made for total or partial disability and are paid on a temporary or permanent basis.

The payments are frequently made on a periodic basis, such as monthly. Lump sum (LS) payments can also be made. Such lump sum payments are often made instead of regular periodic payments.
