Veterans' Services - Bonuses - Massachusetts

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Department of Veterans' Services provide a bonus to veterans who lived in Massachusetts immediately prior to entry in the armed forces. Bonuses are available to eligible veterans of WWI, WWII, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Persian Gulf War. In case of the death of a veteran, the spouse and children, mother or father, brother or sister or other dependents of the deceased veteran (in that order) are eligible for a bonus.

Bonuses range from $100-$500, depending on length of service, whether the service was stateside or overseas, and the nature of the service assignment.
