The Improved Pension Program provides for the maximum annual rates shown in the table below. The payment is reduced by the amount of the countable income of the veteran and the income of the spouse or dependent children. Effective 01/01/2009, the Child Earned Income Exclusion amount is $9,350.
These maximum yearly rates normally change annually on December 1. The rates shown below are effective December 1, 2008 and are current as of January 2010.
