If you are a VIEW participant and you become employed, your DSS Employment Services (ES) worker is required to do Job Follow-Ups.
A job follow-up is required monthly:
· To track your wages and hours of employment; and
· To help you resolve any problems you may be having on the job.
If you are employed part-time, you are expected to continue active participation in the VIEW program. Monthly job follow-ups are also required for part-time employment.
A minimum of six monthly follow-up contacts must be made on all VIEW cases with employment. Job follow-up may be for up to 24 months (if you are employed throughout your VIEW participation).
If your TANF case is closed before the six follow-ups are completed, your VIEW case must remain open to complete the six required contacts.
