VA Question: Parent of Stepchild Excluded from Assistance Unit - TANF

Answer YES if the parent of your stepchild is excluded from the TANF Assistance Unit for some reason other than non-cooperation with the Department of Child Support Enforcement (DCSE).

NOTE: Answer YES if you used WorkWORLD to determine that Stepparent deemed income caused the parent to be ineligible and you are creating a new situation to see what happens to the Assistance Unit's financial eligibility and grant amount with the parent excluded from the Assistance Unit.
